Shelly Yakus is a renowned audio engineer, mixer and expert in analog and digital recording. He is widely considered one of the best engineers, mixers, sound and studio designers in the music industry. He has engineered and mixed recordings for some of the world’s best known artists including John Lennon, Stevie Nicks, Alice Cooper, Van Morrison, Tom Petty, Dire Straits, Blue Oyster Cult (mixed the actual "more cowbell" moment), Bob Seger, Don Henley, U2 and Madonna. Shelly co-designed, equipped and operated the industry-leading A&M Records music recording studios in Los Angeles. He was previously Vice President of the Record Plant recording studios in New York and Vice President of A&M studios. The music that Shelly has engineered and mixed has grossed over a billion dollars in worldwide sales. In addition, he was nominated for the Rock and Roll hall of fame by Bono from U2. Shelly's career and accomplishments are widely covered in publications such as Rolling Stone, Mix Magazine, Audio Engineer and Spin. He was VP of Audio and Chief Engineer of After Master HD and Pro Master. Co-inventor of AfterMaster technology and online ProMaster instant mastering, songs such as Lady Gaga "Telephone", Janet Jackson "Make Me" and more. His technology is currently being used in the Bella Signa AfterMaster Chip, AfterMaster T.V. box and HearClear TV box. He recently received an honorary doctorate of Music from Lebanon Valley College in PA which has been a revered institution for 148 years.
